Tests and Results
How and when to obtain test results from the surgery
Getting your test results
If your test results show that you need more tests or treatment, we will contact you.
Once a doctor has reviewed your test results, you can view them:
- in your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
- in your online services account
- phone on 020 7274 4507 or visit us between 10am to 4pm and we will tell you what the results are
Test results are normally back after 7 days.
It is your responsibility to check your results and to make an appointment to discuss them with a doctor.
Please arrange to book with the doctor or nurse that arranged for the test. Receptionists will not provide results unless they are authorised to do so by your GP. Please check that the surgery has received the result when you book your appointment to make sure the doctors have the information when they call you.
Please allow up to 2 working days from the date of your appointment booking for GPs to call you.
Alternatively you can access your results online if you are registered for online services.
Note that the practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection and we will only release test results to the person to whom they relate unless that person has given prior permission for the release of this data.
