Training Practice

We are a training practice. This means you may be seen by a qualified doctor but one who is receiving further training in general practice. This additional training currently takes 3 years if full time and you may be seen by doctors at the start or end of this period. While they are qualified to see patients independently they have the support of their trainer, Dr David Wickstead or in his absence Dr Jarrett or Dr Klein should they need it.

In addition we sometimes have medical students or other trainee health professionals gaining experience. In these cases you will always be asked if you agree to have them in the consultation and if you prefer not to this will be arranged without any impact on your care.
